For my student group I was focusing on my band and other independent artists and bands. I stubbled across a blog which's sole focus is to discover and promote up and coming artists.

On there they discuss and link to a lot of bands but most importantly for me at least, there is a section under the forums of were keen artists and meet up with other artists and collaborate, as long as my band mates don't mind its something I am really going to look into.
Looking on the middlesex website, it seems the university doesn't really have a club or group that is simply there to perform music, jam and collaborate together so I am going to seriously consider building the group from the ground up.

It states that to create a club you must have a minimum of 10 members. So let me journey begin!
I think this would be a great idea, seems to be something my uni lacks in also, I play guitar as you know and it would be nice to have a group of guys (and girls) you could meet up with once a week and just jam, good luck if you can set it up
